The Lens nurtures self-awareness by having conversations that encourage intellectual diversity, growth and confidence.
You are invited to join this open collective. The aim is to explore different perspectives in the world we are a part of.
As we become more self-aware, we break free from self-contained measures.
Guests and guest speakers all wish to contribute to the well-being of women. They range from women in the public eye, women in the arts to women in business and everything in between.
Originally from Austin, Texas, Jessica Ordonez Barnett spent seven years in Tel-Aviv before moving to London in 2015. She considers London’s multiplicity in culture and thought to be the perfect foundation of intellectual diversity.
On her own journey of growth, Jessica started to feel a real affinity with other women when she began to release self limiting beliefs, internalised misogyny, and embrace her own strengths. Understanding her own power highlighted the strengths of women around her and in turn, the best parts of herself which she’d started to recognise, she then saw in all women.
Her wish for The Lens is for women to walk away from each event feeling more aware; by being more aware, we create a space in which to expand.
Jessica is a mother to 3 daughters and is the author of 'I am Becoming. A Guide to Self Enquiry.'
